Residents are invited to join Councilman Bill Gates for a meeting to discuss the Sunnyslope SMART Circulator at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 21, at John C. Lincoln Cowden Center, 9202 N. Second St.

The Sunnyslope Multi Access Residential Transit (SMART) Circulator is a free neighborhood transit service that was established in 2007. Ridership along the circulator’s 11-mile route has decreased in recent years due to cuts in the schedule.  The goal of this meeting is to explore ways to encourage residents to utilize this free service.

Transit staff will be available at the meeting to answer questions, and residents are encouraged to join the discussion and share their thoughts about the schedule, route and other aspects of the SMART Circulator.
