Grocery Stores To Give Soccer Balls to Kids; Volunteers Needed

Pro’s Ranch Markets, the Provenzano family and Councilman Daniel Valenzuela will give away as many as 4,000 soccer balls to neighborhood kids from Wednesday, June 6, to Tuesday, June 12. Volunteers also are needed to help distribute the soccer balls. 

“This is a creative example of a business giving back to the community that supports them,” said Councilman Valenzuela.  “I commend Pro’s Ranch Markets and the Provenzano family for kicking off summer in a very positive way for our young people.” 

Up to 600 soccer balls will be given away to neighborhood kids at the seven Phoenix area Pro’s Ranch Market locations, from 5 to 7 p.m. on designated days: June 6 – 6750 W. Camelback Road; June 7 – 3415 W. Glendale Ave.; June 8 – 1118 E. Southern Ave.; June 9 – 5802 E. Thomas Road; June 10 – 3323 W. Indian School Road; June 11 – 5833 S. Central Ave.; June 12 – 1602 E. Roosevelt St.
