Councilman Daniel Valenzuela, District 5, has been selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s Forty-Under-40, Class of 2012.  Councilman Valenzuela was one of 40 young leaders representing the community, government and non-profit organizations selected from nearly 300 candidates.

“It is an honor to stand alongside this year’s young leaders, and join those who have come before,” said Councilman Valenzuela.  “I look forward to following the careers of my fellow honorees, as we continue to making positive impacts on our communities.”

During the past 11 years, the Phoenix Business Journal has honored 440 leaders in government, non-profits and the community, “who have achieved impressive milestones in their businesses and careers.”  Honorees are selected by a panel of alumni and executives from the Phoenix Business Journal.  More information can be found at FortyUnder40.org.
