Aquatics Image for News ReleasesThough school will be back in full swing in most districts throughout the city, summer won’t be over in August at nine Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department pools, which will be open weekends that month from 1 to 7 p.m. through Labor Day. The nine pools that will operate August weekends are:

  • Falcon, 3420 W. Roosevelt, 602-262-6229
  • Maryvale, 4444 N. 51st Ave., 602-262-6685
  • Paradise Valley, 17648 N. 40th St., 602-534-5161
  • Pecos, 17010 S. 48th St., 602-534-9255
  • Perry, 3131 E. Windsor Ave., 602-262-7367
  • Sunnyslope, 301 W. Dunlap Rd., 602-262-7165


August weekend pools hours were included in the budget the City Council approved for fiscal year 2012-13.
