City of Phoenix Seeks Instructors to Provide Programming to Adult Populations

The city of Phoenix Human Services Department has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for instructor services from organizations or individuals who would offer programs and activities at the city’s 15 senior/community centers. Although the target population is seniors 55+, all adults can register.

Examples of classes that might be taught include wellness, fitness, no-bake food, performing arts, organizational, educational and financial. The classes would be self-sustaining and registration fees would cover the class cost.

A pre-proposal conference will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington St., 10th Floor East. Sealed proposals will be accepted until 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at the Phoenix Human Services Department, Senior Services Division, 200 W. Washington St., 17th floor.
