Phoenix Senior Centers Seek Sponsorships for Programs and Activities
Local businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to support the city of Phoenix senior centers by sponsoring an event or various center programs or activities through the Senior Center Sponsorship Program.
Levels of sponsorship vary from a major sponsorship of an annual event at $25,000 to categories ranging from $500 to $10,000 with each level offering a variety of benefits. Sponsorships may be designated for a particular program including senior center meals, home-delivered meals, recreational activities, health and wellness information and screenings, transportation, volunteer opportunities and special events.
Specific senior centers may be identified to receive sponsorship assistance. In-kind donations of equipment or supplies, such as copy machines, chairs, supplies, etc., also are needed. All sponsorships and equipment and supplies donations are tax deductible. The city’s Human Services Department Senior Services Division is coordinating this effort.
