Holiday Notice

City of Phoenix offices will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Here's how city services are affected:

• • Transit: Light Rail, buses and Dial-a-Ride will operate on regular weekday schedules on Friday, July 3, and regular weekend schedules on Saturday, July 4.
  • Solid Waste: There is no change in collections on Friday, July 3.
  • Transfer Stations: The 27th Avenue and North Gateway stations will remain open.
  • Libraries: Burton Barr Central Library and all branch libraries will be open on Friday, July 3, but will be closed on Saturday, July 4.
  • Parking meters: They will be free, except at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
