Councilman Michael Nowakowski invites residents to the unveiling of the Arizona Latino Arts & Culture Center’s (ALAC) Arizona Centennial Mural, featuring seven panels inspired by Andres Giron’s paintings of Downtown Phoenix at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 6, 147 E. Adams St.

“This mural will offer a visual representation of Downtown Phoenix during the past 100 years,” said Councilman Michael Nowakowski.     

The ALAC illuminates, celebrates and promotes Latinos in Arizona through education, advocacy and collaboration. The organization also fosters communication, collaborations, education and understanding between Latino and non-Latino artists, arts organizations, media outlets and communities.
