Vice Mayor Michael Johnson invites students attending Bioscience High School and South Mountain High School on a tour of Arizona State University and University of Arizona Downtown Phoenix campuses at 8 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12.

“I want students in my district to know they can get a five-star education right here in their own back yard,” said Vice Mayor Johnson.  “I know some of them are checking out schools across the country, but they only need to look down the street.”

The tour is open for juniors and seniors who attend either school and live in District 8.  A parent or guardian must accompany each student on the tour.

Students interested in the tour need to fill out a tour interest form at phoenix.gov/district8, by Monday, Oct. 1.  Space is limited.
