Councilman Mattox Welcomes Deputy City Manager Ed Zuercher to Community Breakfast

Councilman Claude Mattox invites residents to join him and Deputy City Manager Ed Zuercher for breakfast next week as Zuercher speaks about progress with the West Phoenix Revitalization Project. The breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Sizzler American Grill, 5060 W. Indian School Road.

The long-term revitalization project encompasses a number of different goals, including fixing up parks, decreasing crime rates, improving streets and traffic flow, addressing illegal construction, cleaning up blight, and boosting housing opportunities.

“As the project’s fourth year of action comes to an end, it’s rewarding to see the great strides we have made in improving the quality of life for residents in west Phoenix,” Mattox said.
