Residents are invited to bring their family and friends to join Councilman Michael Nowakowski for a free “Movie in the Park” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Trailside Point Park, 7215 W. Vineyard Road.

The evening's presentation will be the family film Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax,” featuring the voices of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Betty White. “The Lorax” features a story about a young boy who sets out to win love and ends up learning about something much bigger than he ever thought; what happened to all the trees in his home of Thneed-Ville.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and drinks to this family-friendly event.
