Parks and Recreation Offers a Variety of Halloween and Fall Events
Fall is the time to head back outdoors in Phoenix, and the city’s Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring events for children and adults to celebrate the season. Participants can join in the fun with costume parades, carnival games, fun houses, family golf, native foods and crafts and much more. Pueblo Grande Museum 6th Annual Foods and Craft Fair
4619 E. Washington St.
This community event will feature fresh produce for sale, watermelon eating/seed spitting contest, traditional arts and craft demonstrations along with native food cooking. Frybread will be available for sale. Admission is free. For additional information, call 602-495-0901 or 0902.

Day of the Dead Altar Box Workshop at Pueblo Grande Museum

Join artist April Bojorquez for this hands on workshop. Participants will

Halloween Carnival at Longview Neighborhood Recreation Center

The carnival will feature games, music, prizes, face painting, costume contest, and a cupcake walk for elementary school age children. Registration deadline is Oct. 29. Play is limited to the first 45 golfers. Prizes for the best costume. Registration and warm up at 6 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. tee off. Cost is $25 per person.
