Friends of the Phoenix Public Library Kicks Off Fall Book Sale Oct. 23 Through 25

The Friends of the Phoenix Public Library kicks off its Annual Fall Book Sale this weekend, Friday, Oct. 23 – Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Friends Warehouse located at 1330 N. Central Ave.

There will be more than 200,000 books, CDs and VHS/DVDs to buy with most items selling for $2 or less.

Friday is open to Friends Members only with memberships starting at $25. Saturday and Sunday are open to the public. All items will sell for half-price on Sunday.

Proceeds from the Friends Fall Book Sale will be used to support Phoenix Public Library.

Weekend times are:

  • Friday, Oct. 23 Noon – 8 p.m. (members only)
  • Saturday, Oct. 24 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25 Noon – 5 p.m. (half-price day)


Founded in 1977, the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library has been dedicated to promoting, enhancing and expanding the presence of the library for the benefit of our community. The Friends of the Phoenix Public Library brings together concerned citizens, local businesses and organizations to develop fiscal resources, literacy programs and to create public awareness for the library system.
