Parks Mission Graphic for WebThe Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, Councilman Daniel Valenzuela and area residents will celebrate the grand opening of Dust Devil Park, 107th Avenue and Camelback Road, at a celebration event Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.

The 15-acre park boasts a skate park, a splash pad, a lighted basketball court, walking/exercise paths, a playground with separate play areas for younger and older kids, open grass areas, a restroom, security lighting, more than 300 trees and solar paneled picnic ramadas. Electricity generated by the solar panels help to offset the park’s electricity costs.
