The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department has introduced a new online city street/right of way special event application and online fee payment capability that significantly streamlines the process of applying to use city streets for runs, walks, festivals or similar special events. Most people will be able to fill out the new online application in fewer than 10 minutes, a major improvement over the old multi-page paper application.
Organizers also now have the option of paying their $400 City Street/Right of Way Event application fee online, instead of in-person payment previously required.
Festival and event organizers can find the new application along with comprehensive street event planning information on the department homepage at phoenix.gov/parks.
