Surplus Public Auction Set for Nov. 14
Looking for a motorcycle, riding lawn mower, transit bus or tow truck?
You can purchase any of these items if you are the highest bidder at the city of Phoenix Surplus Public Auction at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the city's auction yard, 2820 S. 22nd Ave. (south of Lower Buckeye Road).
In addition to these items, 91 cars, 32 pickups, 10 trailers, seven garbage trucks, seven carts, five utility trucks, five metal tipper bins, four Dial-A-Ride vans, four SUV’s, five generators, two articulated loaders, two tractors, two hot kettles, fire department 100-foot ladder truck, stand in electric forklift, fifth wheel tractor, bomb transport trailer, A/C units, scrap metal, scrap wire, office equipment and much more will be sold.
Gates open to the public at 7:30 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. The auction starts at 9 a.m. The cashier will remain open until 2:30 p.m. the day of the auction. Items to be sold may be inspected at the auction yard from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, and Friday, Nov. 13.
People planning to attend the auction may register online one week before the auction and receive their bidder card when they arrive at the sale. Just go to phoenix.gov/invmgt, click on “online registration” and follow the instructions. Registration will continue at the auction.
