Phoenix Public Library offers a variety of resources for job seekers, from help with writing a resume to a workshop on job interviews to a class on word processing. Three library locations also offer one-on-one assistance with resume writing, searching and applying for jobs online, and interviewing techniques at scheduled times each week. These locations are:
- Acacia Library
- 750 E. Townley
- Ocotillo Library & Workforce Literacy Center
- 102 W. Southern Ave.
- Palo Verde Library
- 4402 N. 51st Ave.
Twelve other library locations provide Internet-accessible computers to help job seekers with a job search or writing a resume. These virtual workforce workstations are available to library customers for one two-hour period each day (first come, first served). In addition, these stations offer free printing for job seekers who need to print a resume or cover letter.
