Councilman Michael Nowakowski will join State Rep. Ruben Gallego and volunteers as they go door-to-door to collect food for homeless veterans and register voters.

Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at El Reposo Park, 212 E. Alta Vista Road.  The event will last until noon.  This event is one of many planned events to give back to the community and inform voters.
