Sky Harbor Uses Technology to Connect with Customers
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is now using multiple communications tools to connect with its customers. In this age of advancing technology, Sky Harbor understands the importance of using new technology to meet the needs of its customers in order to provide customer service that exceeds expectations.
Phoenix Sky Harbor is now on Twitter as PHXSkyHarbor. Passengers can sign up today to become a follower and see airport updates known as “tweets.” Followers on Twitter receive important updates about airport happenings.
Sky Harbor’s Web site – phxskyharbor.com – now features a PHX Perspective page. This new page highlights what is going on at the airport with pictures and interesting statistics. If it is happening at Sky Harbor, it is happening on PHX Perspective! Stories and pictures from this new page are available for journalists to use. It is an easy and quick way for passengers, as well as the media, to find out what is going on at Sky Harbor. New PHX Perspective stories generate Twitter alerts as well.
In addition, customers can now access Sky Harbor’s flight schedules electronically. Passengers can use their desktop or laptop computers to search flights and compare schedules, then link directly to individual airlines. Sky Harbor’s flight schedules also can be downloaded to desktops, laptops or even pocket PCs or Palms. Customers with wireless handheld devices like a Blackberry or Smartphone can search Sky Harbor’s flight schedules on the go from these handheld devices.
