Airport Shops Participate in Global Learning Program

A group of women from Jordan visited Sky Harbor Airport recently as part of a program to help students learn about entrepreneurial and global leadership projects.

The visit to Sky Harbor was an example of Thunderbird School of Global Management's partnering with Phoenix-area organizations to provide students with real world examples of entrepreneurial and global leadership projects.

The students visited several shops managed by Delstar Companies at Sky Harbor on Oct. 21 as part of the Jordanian Women Entrepreneur Program. Pam DelDuca, Founder, President and CEO of Delstar Companies, spoke to the students about her professional experiences prior to the tour.

The Jordanian Women Entrepreneur Program is part of a greater exchange program at Thunderbird where students from Jordan learn about entrepreneurial and business methods in order to focus on fostering the development of human resources in their home country. Get full story.
