PHX Sky Train™ Construction Update
Stage 1, the elevated portion of the PHX Sky Train, began on June 30 with construction the first two of 110 drilled shaft foundations at the west end of the East Economy Parking lot and in the median of the future Toll Plaza entry/exit access road. The first phase of PHX Sky Train is due for completion in late 2012 and will connect passengers between Terminal 4, the East Economy parking lot and the 44th Street and Washington METRO Light Rail Station. The second stage, to continue from Terminal 4 west to the Rental Car Center, is expected to be complete in 2020. Get details.
