What’s Behind that White Wall in Terminal 3?
If you’ve been in Sky Harbor’s Terminal 3 lately, you may be curious about what might be going on behind a big, white wall in the baggage claim area. Behind that wall the baggage carousels are being replaced.
The carousels have served the Airport well as they are the original equipment from when the terminal was built in the 1970s. Although still working, they are being replaced because it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find parts for the aging mechanical system. Get full story.
