Mahalo Mondays: Hula's Modern Tiki Supports Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS

March 25, 2010

Councilman Tom Simplot and the owners of Hula’s Modern Tiki, Dana Mulé and Chris Delaney, are continuing the Mahalo Mondays fundraising partnership in April by benefiting Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS. For the entire month, Hula’s will donate 10 percent of every Monday’s proceeds to Southwest Center for research and client services.

Hula’s is located at 4700 N. Central Ave., on the northwest corner of Central and Highland avenues. Hula’s has been serving modern island cuisine in uptown Phoenix since September 2009. For more information on the restaurant or the Mahalo Mondays program, visit hulasmoderntiki.com.

The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS is the largest clinical trial, education, behavioral health and nutrition support center dedicated to fighting HIV and AIDS in the Southwestern United States. The Center's vision, "leading the fight against HIV and AIDS" is carried out through their mission of reducing infection, improving quality of life and contributing to worldwide research.
