District 8 Residents Invited to Community Meeting

Councilman Michael Johnson and staff from the city’s Neighborhood Services and Planning departments will host a community meeting to provide an update on the Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. The company has applied for a special zoning permit and several residents in the surrounding neighborhood have expressed concerns.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Broadway Heritage Resource Center, 2405 E. Broadway Road.
