Phoenix police searching for suspect in deadly shooting
Phoenix police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating the suspect or suspects involved in a deadly shooting in west Phoenix last night, Wednesday, September 2, 2009. When police arrived at the scene near 59th Avenue and Cypress, they found two victims, both had multiple gunshot wounds. One victim, a Hispanic male between 30-40 years old was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, a 29-year-old Hispanic male, was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Two vehicles were seen leaving from the scene shortly after the shots were fired. One vehicle was a blue or green Chevrolet S-10, the other was described as a red-colored Chevy Tahoe SUV.
