The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department’s Shemer Art Center & Museum announces its Call for Work for 2009 Exhibitions. Submissions are currently being accepted through July 3, 2008.
Exhibition opportunities are offered to artists in all media and include Process and Surface, Objectified and Drawn. Each exhibition will be juried separately by Shemer’s Curator and professional members of the arts community.
Submitting artists must be Arizona residents at least 18 years of age and submissions must consist of work completed within the last two years. The application is available online at phoenix.gov/shemer or at Shemer Art Center & Museum.
The Shemer Art Center & Museum is proud to give emerging artists the opportunity to exhibit and make connections in the local art community. The city of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department operates the Shemer Art Center & Museum, a Phoenix Point of Pride, located at 5005 E. Cambelback Rd.
