Phoenix Public Library Presents Fundraising Orientation May 30

If you represent a nonprofit organization and are new to fundraising, plan to attend a free Foundation and Grants Collection orientation from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave.

The orientation will help you define your vision and mission, meet your legal requirements, build your board of directors, plan programs and develop budgets. It will include database demonstrations of the Foundation Directory Online and the Arizona Guide to Grants. The presentation does not cover scholarship or business funding.

The orientation will be held in the library’s first floor public training room. Seating is limited and registration is required. To make reservations, call 602-256-3544.

Phoenix Public Library is a system of 14 branch libraries and the Burton Barr Central Library. For more information, call 602-262-4636 or visit phoenixpubliclibrary.org.
