Are you concerned about making your mortgage payment? If so, contact a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) certified housing counselor from the list below for free assistance. Homeowners who work with a housing counselor are 70 percent more likely to achieve a positive result when attempting to obtain a modification, forbearance agreement or a change in payment plans.

The city of Phoenix, in partnership with the Arizona Foreclosure Prevention Task Force, offers information sessions to assist distressed homeowners with the foreclosure process. Lenders and housing counselors are available to meet face-to-face and other resources and information are provided at these sessions.
