The Volunteer Assistance Program helps financially or physically disadvantaged Phoenix property owners correct code violations at their homes by connecting them with community volunteer groups.
Many code violations are exterior maintenance or safety issues like high, dry weeds, dead trees or excessive trash or debris on the property. Resolving damages keeps residents safe and neighborhoods beautiful. Volunteers with this program have the opportunity to work across Phoenix and dedicate one Saturday morning a month to helping residents.
