
The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department programs, parks and facilities serve tens of thousands of visitors each year; a job we couldn't do without the help of dedicated volunteers. Our volunteer program, My Phoenix - My Park, offers opportunities for every schedule, interest and skill. HandsOn Greater Phoenix is accepting applications for 14 full-time AmeriCorps VISTA members, to begin service in February 2012. Two VISTA members will be assigned to the city of Phoenix and will help with exciting volunteer programs coordinated by the Parks and Recreation, Library and Human Services Departments.
