Through a partnership with Downtown Urban Community Kids (DUCKs), an area non-profit, the center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. More information on DUCKs is available on their organization website. Smith Park Recreation Center amenities include: foosball, pool, video and table games Park amenities include:  Steve Finley Field of Dreams for youth baseball, basketball courts, playground area and a multi-use field area.

Recreation/Teen Center that primarily focuses on youth and teen activities. Program includes educational/tutorial classes, nutrition, physical fitness, sewing, computer classes and enrichment. Mentoring program with Roosevelt School District.  Participants will be attending educational field trips and cultural events/programs.

Summer Program Hours: (June 4 thru July 27) 12 to 7p.m.

Sunnyslope Youth Center amenities include a dance room, game room, art room, and the Credit Union West Computer Lab. General interest classes are available to both youth and adults including Hip Hop, Break Dancing, MMA Conditioning, Yoga, and Zumba. and VAMOS - Media class.  The center also is connected to Winifred Green Park.  This recreation park has a full sized basketball court, two playground structures and an open play field.
