The Freedom Wireless Foundation Fabulous Phoenix 4th is one of the largest free Independence Day celebrations in the region, and thanks to the generous sponsorship of our title sponsor the 2013 event will feature our biggest fireworks display ever.
This free, family event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix and features three stages of live local entertainment, free inflatable rides and activities in our Kids Zone, Classic Car exhibit, a "Hurricane Mister" area where participants can cool off, and a spectacular Patriotic Program. The fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m. Visitors also can purchase food from more than 50 food and beverage vendors, and enjoy free community information booths and displays. Please remember that consumer fireworks and novelty items of any kind are not allowed at any City of Phoenix Independence Day celebrations.

Please note that Fabulous Phoenix 4th is a Rain or Shine event. In the event of severe weather, stage and other activities will be delayed until weather clears.
Two other ways to enjoy the Independence Day holiday:

After Dark in the Park at Deer Valley Park, 19602 North 19th Avenue, on Saturday, June 29 from 7-9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this FREE event. Bring your blanket to enjoy the fireworks and a picnic basket or enjoy cuisine from some of the local food vendors. Music and air jumps for kids. The event will end with a spectacular fireworks display at 8:45 p.m. 602 495-3735.

Light Up the Sky -- Wednesday, July 3, 6:30 to 9 p.m. A free fireworks show at Maryvale Baseball Park, 3600 N. 51st Ave. Festivities, including inflatable rides, outside of the stadium begin at 6:30 and gates to the stadium open at 7. This is a FREE, family oriented, non-alcoholic Maryvale fireworks event that draws thousands each year. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food and refreshments available for purchase, activities and entertainment all complimented by one of the finest fireworks spectaculars in the state. Only sealed water bottles will be allowed in the stadium. The highlight of the program is of course the outstanding fireworks display at 9:10 p.m. For more information call 602 262-6575.
