Kool Kids Program - Swim Free - Official Site of the City of Phoenix

The Kool Kids program provides free open swim admission to community youths May 26 through July 29, or until funds are exhausted.

Since 1990, the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with businesses and community leaders to provide free swimming for youth. Known as "Kool Kids," this program relies totally on the support of organizations and businesses to provide a safe, healthy alternative for young people during the summer heat. One hundred percent of "Kool Kids" funds are spent directly on providing free swimming to at-risk youth under age 17, and for every dollar contributed to "Kool Kids," one child can enjoy an entire day of free swimming.
Last year over 65,000 at-risk youth were served by "Kool Kids."
Group use of Kool Kids funds is not permitted.
