The RJ Dog Park has been temporarily closed for turf repair and regeneration until September 6, 2012.
48th Street and Pecos Parkway (enter from 48th Street via Chandler Boulevard). Phone (602) 534-5252. The dog park, named for a Police service dog that died in the line of duty, is located in the southeast corner of the park. Hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
The park features:
Two total acres of grass surface divided into separately fenced areas for large and small dogs
Fully fenced perimeter with double-gates
Water fountain
Accessible to people with disabilities
