Top qualifiers will advance to the state event on 5/17/2013
Kids ages 7 through 14 who want a fun way to get active and experience track and field can join the Hershey's Track and Field day. The event is open to anyone, with no experience necessary, kids just need to enjoy running, jumping and throwing This years Hershey's program will be on April 20 at Phoenix College, 1202 W. Thomas Road. Kids in the 7- to 8- year-old age group can choose from 50 and 100 meter dashes, softball throw and standing long jump. Older age group kids can choose the same events plus some longer running race distances such as 200, 400, 800 and 1,600 meters. First and second place winners in the older age groups qualify for statewide competitions.
