Mary Ann Huerta Jenkins Fellowship
Mary Ann Huerta Jenkins
The Mary Ann Huerta Jenkins Fellowship was created to celebrate the strength of women in public service in March 2003. The scholarship was developed in association with the Arizona State University School of Public Affairs in memory of Mary Ann, a longtime City of Phoenix employee and assistant to the Phoenix City Manager, who passed away in August 2002. It is a fitting tribute to Mary Ann's achievements as an ASU graduate dedicated to women's issues and helping the underprivileged of our community. The annual scholarship of $2,500 for a deserving female master's of public administration candidate is named in honor of Mary Ann.
