The Public Information Office (PIO) functions as the public relations arm of the city by assisting the Mayor, City Council, City Manager's Office and city departments in communicating the goals and activities of city government to the city's many publics, both internal and external.
PIO also partners with Information Technology Services for phoenix.gov, the city's official website, and oversees the city's official Facebook page, Twitter accounts, YouTube, and other social and new media.
