Justin CardozaOn October 11, 2012, at approximately 3 p.m., Phoenix Police Officers responded to a residence located near 3800 East Monterosa Street.  When officers arrived on scene they met with the victim’s 92 year old mother who located her son, David Cardoza, injured inside the home.  Phoenix Fire department arrived on scene and transported David to an area hospital in extremely critical condition.  


Detectives from the Home Invasion Kidnapping Enforcement squad responded to investigate this crime as it appeared to be related to a home invasion.  There were several personal items of value taken from the home at the time of this incident.  



The victim, David Cardoza, remained in critical condition at an area hospital since the occurrence of this crime.  Sadly, David died of his injuries on the evening of November 9, 2012.  


Investigators are currently seeking the whereabouts of Investigative Lead Angel Padilla as he is wanted for questioning in this crime.
