Block Watch Program
Information Provided by the Police Department

Purpose

A long standing partnership between the city and citizens. This is a program of neighbors looking out for each other. It is designed to enlist the active participation of citizens to reduce crime by reporting suspicious activity to police and improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.

 

How to Start a Block Watch in your neighborhood

Contact your Community Action Officer by calling your local police precinct. Click here to find what precinct you live in.

Block Watch Street Signs - How to Order

To order Block Watch signs for your neighborhood group, (Your association must be registered with Neighborhood Services) you can download the packet by clicking on the link below or you can contact the Block Watch Advisory Board and they will provide you with an "order packet" containing an order form and mounting information.
