Phoenix Police Officers are not only busy protecting our city, but Officer Chelsey Rios has been busy protecting our country.
Rios is a member of the United States Air National Guard.  She recently returned from a deployment to Afghanistan.  Rios and others from the Air National Guard presented a U.S. flag to the Commander Louis A. Tovar and the Central City Precinct.

The flag was recently flown during a combat mission over hostile territory in Afghanistan. It was used to represent the fight against global terror and the preservation of our country’s freedom.
Rios has been a member of the police department for the past 4 and ½ years.  She worked as a boom operator for the National Guard in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
