“Operation High Tide” was a proactive, multifaceted law enforcement event designed to enhance the quality of life for our citizens by providing pre-determined, specialized public safety operations in designated areas around the city of Phoenix. “High Tide” officially kicked off at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19th, 2013 and ended at midnight on Saturday, April 20th

 

Almost every bureau and specialty detail within the Phoenix Police Department joined with our law enforcement partners from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Arizona Adult Probation, Maricopa County Constables, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Arizona Auto Theft Authority (task force with DPS). The program was also supported by our business and citizen partners:

Additional Information

One (1) prisoner was booked twice; taking into custody on an arrest warrant early Friday morning on April 19th.  During his time in jail, his family served him with an order for protection.  He was arrested for violating that order upon his release on Saturday afternoon April 20th

 

Two (2) prisoners were held for extradition to other states.
