Acceptable Bulk Trash items include:
- Large appliances that DO NOT use refrigerants such as freezers, refrigerators and air conditioners. Appliances that use refrigerants are considered household hazardous wastes.
- Large amounts of vegetation
- Water heaters
- Televisions, stereo equipment
- Large cardboard moving boxes
Vegetation must be less than four feet long and 12 inches in diameter, except for palm fronds. Small amounts of vegetation should be bagged and tied, and placed in the garbage container.
Please place items in a neat pile less than 20 cubic yards per residence, or a pile the size of a small SUV. Details of proper bulk trash placement can be viewed here Chapter 27 Solid Waste Codes.
