Many common household products are considered hazardous and/or require special disposal. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) is collected several times a year at various Phoenix sites.
HHW events are only for City of Phoenix residential refuse customers. Proof of City of Phoenix refuse service is required - please bring your current city of Phoenix municipal services bill showing solid waste fees AND a matching photo ID with the same Phoenix address.

Drugs are unacceptable at our HHW collection events. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. More information can be found on their webpage.
