Car Seat Safety Inspection This program provides education to parents about safe car seat practices including how and when to graduate their child into the next appropriate seat. Additionally, car seat safety technicians make sure your current car seat is installed correctly and if it is not, they correctly install it.
Community Emergency Response Team The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. When emergencies happen, CERT members can give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.

 

CPR Awareness Information and Class (Non-certification)

 

Groups of 10 or more can request this class, which teaches the community how to perform CPR prior to the arrival of the Fire Department. Please call 602-262-6910 for more information.

Industrial Hygiene Safety A variety of OSHA and EPA training's are provided by the Industrial Hygiene group and are available in lecture, video, and eLearning formats.
Monsoon Safety Groups of 10 or more can request this program, which provides information to the community about how to be safe during Monsoon season. Please call 602-262-6910 for more information.
Older Adult Safety & Fall Prevention Lectures - Senior These educational lectures provide safety information and staying safe and preventing falls in your home.
Swimming Lessons City pools offer classes that teach participants how to swim from the early stages of being comfortable in the water to the later stages of learning the competitive strokes.
Water Safety This is an educational opportunity that teaches the community about how to prevent water related injuries.
