In the Sunnyslope Community Center on the northeast corner of Eighth Street and Vogel, north of Dunlap Avenue; ample parking; on bus line.

Activities at the center include:
  • Clubs and classes - Arts & crafts, support groups, relaxation class
  • Social activities and entertainment - Monthly birthday parties, special events, weekly dance
  • Games - Bingo, bridge, table games, ping pong, pinochle, billiards
  • Fitness - Walking, exercise classes
  • Health and education - Trips, weekly continental breakfast, health screenings

Check the activity calendar for dates, times and additional activities and fees (if applicable).

Lunch
Lunch is served at 12:00 noon. Lunch reservations are required 48 hours in advance. Check the menu for daily meal choices. Meals are planned using nutrition guidelines for older adults.

Other Services

Advocacy and Assistance
PACE program staff are on site and available for appointments to identify areas of needs and assist with community resources.

Transportation
Center staff can help with registration for Reserve-A-Ride or information on other area transportation.

Home-delivered meals
This program offers delivery of meals for homebound frail, elderly and disabled clients under certain qualifications and by referral only.

Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities at the center include assisting with meal programs, clerical tasks, host/hostessing, activities and classes/workshops.
