As a victim of a crime, you have certain legal rights. The Phoenix Prosecutor’s Office has a Victim Services Unit and this online Crime Victim Services Center to help you with questions and concerns you might have, and to provide information and support regarding the criminal process.

Invoking Your Rights pursuant to the Victims’ Bill of Rights as a victim and receiving notice of court dates and the status of the case.
Obtaining Protective Orders such as an Order of Protection or an Injunction Against Harassment.

Providing a Victim Impact Statement to the Court to let the judge know how the crime affected you and your family. You have the right to be heard and this Statement is very important because a defendant can plead and be sentenced at any hearing.
