October 2008
- Vice Mayor Peggy Neely is On the Road to tour Phase I of CityNorth,
a pedestrian-friendly urban core development featuring great hotels,
wonderful retail stores, restaurants, corporate offices, residential,
and public spaces and plazas. Phase I will open to the public in mid-November
and we'll learn what CityNorth brings to the Valley.
September 2008
- Vice Mayor Peggy Neely visits with the Dr. Paul Dale, the interim
president of Paradise Valley Community College. She highlights the
annual CHAIRity event taking place later this fall and as well as
the Phoenix Public Library's recent recognition. To close the show,
Neely features the Gavilan Peak Parkway groundbreaking.
June 2008
- Vice Mayor Peggy Neely highlights TGen's accomplishments and strategic
partnerships as they celebrate their five-year anniversary in Phoenix.
She also features a Professional Women's Luncheon hosted at the Mayo
Clinic Phoenix Campus and she unveils a public awareness campaign
to prevent crimes of opportunity.
May 2008
- Vice Mayor Peggy Neely highlights the summer recreational activities
available for youth through our city's Parks and Recreation Department.
She'll also hear about other opportunities with a local soccer club.
To close the show, Neely meets with the city's director of the Water
Services Department.
April 2008
- Vice Mayor Peggy Neely is On the Road at the Toll Brothers' new
Montevista community near 56th Street and Dixileta. The luxury homes
feature more than 100 "green" amenities, including ecologically friendly
building techniques, new technologies, recycled products and energy
efficiency.
March 2008
- Vice Mayor Peggy Neely speaks with the director of the city's Neighborhood
Services Department to discuss their fight against graffiti and other
ways residents can preserve their neighborhoods. She also highlights
in the new community circulator serving the Desert Ridge neighborhood.
To end the show, the Vice Mayor discusses the new automated train
system serving passengers of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
January 2008
- Vice Mayor Neely is at the Reach 11 Sports Complex as the Phoenix
Parks and Recreation Department and the Arizona Youth Soccer Association
host more than 70 soccer teams representing the best players in the
Region IV Olympic Development Program tournament.
