June 2009
- Councilman Claude Mattox meets the Transportation Security Administration's
(TSA) new federal security director at Phoenix Sky Harbor International
Airport and discusses the TSA's relationship with the assistant director
of the city's Aviation Department. He learns about the importance
of CPR and how you can be trained to save a life. To close the show,
he features the Citizen Police Academy, a free program offered to
residents and business owners by the Phoenix Police Department.
May 2009
- Councilman Claude Mattox discusses water safety tips and upcoming
summer events and programs at city pools as the swim season kicks
off. He highlights a recent community cleanup in his district involving
several organizations and to close the show, he meets with a national
captain for the Patriot Guard Riders
April 2009
- Councilman Claude Mattox highlights the Wind & Fire Motorcycle Club's
Annual Burn Camp Ride, which benefits the Foundation for Burns & Trauma's
Camp Courage. He meets with the Outstanding Young Woman from his district,
who also was recognized as the Outstanding Young Woman for the entire
city. To close the show, he gets an update on Phoenix's efforts to
secure federal stimulus dollars.

- Councilman Claude Mattox is On the Road to highlight the new spring
training facility, Camelback Ranch, which is home to the Chicago White
Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
February 2009
- Councilman Claude Mattox talks with Phoenix Police as they share
their experience during the historic Presidential inauguration. He
highlights the upcoming WorldFEST, hosted by Phoenix Sister Cities.
To close the show, he discusses the city's services and programs offered
at Phoenix senior centers and the impact of the recent budget reductions.
January 2009
- Councilman Claude Mattox highlights the dangers of making homemade
bio-diesel fuels with Phoenix Fire Chief. He discusses the challenges
of protecting residents while reducing the budgets of the Phoenix
Fire and Police departments. He also features what's next for METRO
light rail now that it's serving the public.
December
2008 - Councilman Claude Mattox highlights the importance
for residents to Shop Phoenix. He also features the Reserve Division
of the Phoenix Police Department and a local student guitar ensemble
from his district. To close the show, he learns about holiday safety
tips from Phoenix Police and Fire representatives.
November 2008
- Councilman Claude Mattox speaks with Fire Chief Bob Khan about fire
safety within the home and the importance of smoke alarms. He learns
about the city's Community Emergency Response Team training program
and to close the show, he highlights Grandma's Day.
October 2008
- Councilman Claude Mattox discusses homeland security with representatives
from the Phoenix Fire and Police departments and highlights his district's
newest fire station. With METRO light rail now testing cars in downtown
Phoenix, Mattox speaks with a representative from METRO Light Rail
to provide an overview pedestrian and vehicle safety tips. To close
the show, he discusses the city's sustainability efforts along with
its plentiful water supply.
September 2008
- Councilman Claude Mattox discusses a river-rafting trip with Mainstream
Expeditions that he recently took part in as part of a program organized
by River of Dreams, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. He'll feature a Guinness
World Record breaking event that he kicked off with Team Gray Whales.
Councilman Mattox also will speak with a representative from the Phoenix
Police Department about the Stop Random Gunfire Poster Contest for
students grades K-8.
