Our Current Partnerships
Public Safety Enhancements
The city of Phoenix is proud to partner with Grand Canyon University in an effort to enhance public safety. The university has invested $125,000 to fund the Phoenix Fire Department's Car 99, which helps ensure that pool fences meet city code requirements to prevent child drownings. The funding will also support the city's graffiti abatement efforts. In recent years, GCU has contributed a total of $1.375 million toward public safety and education efforts in the community.
Service Line Protection Program
The city is participating in the National League of Cities Service Line Protection Program, provided by business partner Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA). SLWA offers residents optional sewer and water line warranties, covering sewer lines from the private property line to the connection to the home and water lines from the meter to the connection to the home.
The Service Line Protection Program was developed through the city’s Innovation and Efficiency efforts. Visit the SLWA website to sign up or get more details about the program.
Free Prescription Drug Discount Card Program
The city of Phoenix is partnering with the Coast2Coast RX free prescription drug discount card to help people save up to 65% on their prescriptions. The card is free and anyone can use it regardless of age, income or health status, and can save money for the uninsured and underinsured, people who have deductibles for their prescription insurance and also people in the Medicare “donut hole.” It can also be used for pet prescriptions!
