Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland A's Team up to Benefit Phoenix City Pools

Feb. 19, 2013

Kids at Pool - Kool KidsFans will have the opportunity to watch great major league baseball while supporting a great cause at the 16th Annual ABC Charity Classic, Feb. 23 at 1:05 p.m.  The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department hosts this charity contest each year between the Milwaukee Brewers and Oakland A’s to raise money for Kool Kids, a department program that provides free swimming at select city pools for youth ages 17 and under.

Last summer, the Kool Kids program paid for more than 102,116 visits by children to city pools to cool off and have fun.

This year’s game is at Maryvale Baseball Stadium, 3600 N. 51st Ave. Two for one ticket vouchers to the ABC Charity Classic are available online at brewers.com/spring.  Those interested should use the discount code “kool” to receive the special pricing to get one Outfield Reserved seat free with the purchase of one Outfield Reserved seat at regular price ($13).
